As a leader in commercial real estate across Canada, Cadillac Fairview needed a fresh look for their social channels in order increase foot traffic within their popular Sherway Gardens location. This social initiative was designed to integrate the new South Wing expansion at the property, encouraging their target audience to visit the grand opening.
Using colourful text overlays and an airy photo treatment, Sherway Gardens was rebranded with a new look-and-feel better suited to their target demographic. While the core elements of colour and typeface stayed the same, the addition of lifestyle photography and cohesive design layouts created a more premium brand experience.
Along with updating internal guidelines, all print and digital assets were refreshed in time for their South Wing grand opening. This included social content, website design, in-property signage and directories, digital advertising and even outdoor hoarding.
After the success of the launch and a 22% increase in mall traffic, the client extended the brand rollout to all 19 properties across Canada. With large campaigns across all properties, including the Olympics*, Calgary Stampede, loyalty programs and holiday festivities, the company was able to create a seamless integration on their channels and in-property.
